Ancient ‘OM’ Meditation

ANCIENT ‘OM’ MEDITATION – WITH 432 Hz MUSIC

For those that practice meditation (and those learning) I’m including another beautiful meditation practice I use — The ancient OM meditation, with the healing sounds of 432 Hz music (below).

Meditation is a mental discipline practices for thousands of years, in which you achieve altered levels of consciousness, and practice contemplation and relaxation. Not only does the OM meditation balance the nitric oxide in the body, it also helps the body release toxins and fat while stimulating increased metabolism.

Here’s a few tips:

1. Dedicate time for meditation. Best early morning or late evening when it is quiet. Get comfortable in any position you prefer. All you need is a quiet place to sit for a while.

2. If you want to achieve the “empty mind” – where you are free from all thoughts – keep your focus on the music. Be aware of thoughts and emotions that drift into your consciousness, but don’t attach yourself to them. Anytime you start thinking of something, bring your attention back to the music and ‘exhale’ your thoughts or let them float away in the breeze.

Simplicity of Life

It’s in the ‘Simplicity’ of life that we feel true joy!

The more choices we have, the less likely we are to be content with our decision. In psychology, we refer to this as the ‘paradox of choice’ effect. Regardless of how certain we are about our decision, when we are faced with too many choices, we become less happy with what we have chosen. It’s during these times we ‘second-guess’ ourselves. We experience this in many facets of life – career options, purchasing decisions, menu choices, our spiritual path…

A wealth of choices makes finding contentment that much harder. Do not feel overwhelmed my friends! Step back for a moment, and breath.

  • Don’t scatter your seeds over many fields – give yourself fewer options.
  • Focus on what makes you happy, and do what gives meaning to your life.
  • Go within… meditate with intention. Ask your soul to guide you to where you need to be. When you have the answer… go forth without hesitation or doubt.

In the words of my grandmother Klara (now resting in heaven)… “It is the simplicity of my mind… and the simplicity of my life that has made me happy”.

Manifesting Our Soul Intention

Our indigenous ancestors around the world had taught us something very important yet often overlooked – they believed our dreams reveal the wishes of the soul. It is through our dreams that we unlock sacred knowledge that is housed deep within our soul and spirit, calling us to move beyond our ego’s agenda and into a deeper more spirited way of living.

So today I am introducing – Soul Intentions ‘Wishful’ Wednesday’s. This is not simply about ‘making a wish’ and sending it off into the Universe, but rather about delving deep into our soul so it may reveal to us our true purpose, and the meaning for the events in our life.

Here’s how this works – Your wish must be something that will reveal an answer of a greater or ‘higher purpose’ or meaning. Hint: if it’s too specific you’re not asking it the best way. For example, you may want to ask:

Show me how to be more courageous.
Guide me towards a more peaceful life.
Show me the meaning for this drama in my life.
Reveal to me – what is my purpose?
How can I be more compassionate?
How can I make a meaningful contribution?

Only ask one question each week and ask that same question daily (e.g. each night before you go to sleep). Ask your soul to reveal its answer to you through your dreams… or through ‘meaningful coincidences’ throughout your day. Be observant – you may be surprised where your answers will come from! It also helps if you approach life with love in your heart – practice gratitude throughout your day to allow love to expand. When practiced diligently, this mindfulness exercise can expand your consciousness, strengthen your intuition, and have a profound impact on the way you approach life.

And yes its OK to share them or write them down – these questions (of purpose & meaning) tap into sacred ‘soul’ wisdom that guide us throughout our lifetime. If you choose to keep them to yourself, that’s OK too, just follow exactly the same steps above. Now please go ahead and make your wish, write it in the ‘comments’ below.
