Everything that lives will experience suffering. This experience of pain is interwoven into the fabric of our earthly experience.

Compassion is an expression of deep caring about the troubles and suffering of all beings, including ourselves. Most often we hear of compassion to others, however … compassion is incomplete if we are not compassionate to ourselves. Self- compassion refers to the way we relate and treat ourselves in the face of personal suffering. Be kind and care for you. Accept your shortcomings. Acknowledge your honorable intentions. Be proud you tried! Recognize that your perceived suffering, failures and inadequacies are part of the human condition.

Practice compassion. Be kind to yourself and others. Do not judge or criticize. We are all in this together!
